Members of the Philippine Constructors Association, Inc. (PCA) left the country last February 5 to grace the 39th ASEAN Constructors Federation (ACF) Council Meeting held at JW Marriot Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Led by PCA President Delfin Wenceslao, the PCA delegation was composed of PCA Past President Jorge Consunji and Anthony Fernandez, PCA Immediate Past President Augusto Manalo and PCA Secretary Gwen Cua.
PCA Executive Director Lito Madrasto also attended the affair as past Secretary-General of ACF, as well as PCA Past President Levy Espiritu as the Executive Director of the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors Association (IFAWPCA).
Hosted by the Master Builders Association of Malaysia (MBAM), the Council Meeting served as a venue for the ACF-member countries to exchange views and share information through various country reports. For years, this meeting has allowed the PCA and its counterparts in the ASEAN to better understand and address the immediate concerns of both regional and global construction markets.
The meeting also coincided with the 38th IFAWPCA Midterm Board Meeting, which was held on February 5-6 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Representing the PCA in the said meeting was Mr. Wenceslao.
